    River dredging is an important work in water environment management in our district, today, the reporter was learned from the District Co-ordination Bureau that our district has been dredged 19 rivers in our district and 2 other rivers are being stepped up, it is purposed to ensure the rivers dredging that would be completed before the March 15 this year.
 
    The reporter have seen that the excavator was on the bottom of the river and embankment on the accumulation of silt to dig in the Modi River of Jinqiao Section, it was firstly use silt curtains for controlling silt and then used the excavators for silt cleaning. After dredging, the river water quality was crystal clear. In order to improve the work efficiency, the construction unit also specially used the small hoisting machine. While strengthening the river dredging work, it was also was increasing the level of business, they used tendering system, hired a professional company to the river and the surrounding area for the supervision. In the Modi River of the Huangzhong Section, the municipal company cleaning staff Guo Herong and her colleagues are carried out sanitary inspection work in the river cleaning.
 
    At present, in our District Jinjiang and Pihe basin, 21 rivers are in charge of the relevant units to carry out dredging work, it has completed the dredging capacity of 47000 cubic meters, the entire project will be completed before March 15 in order to ensure the smooth flow of flood season. After the flood season, our district will carry out the second dredging work in October.
