Ningbo Nnavigation Department held oil spill drill

    In order to effectively improve the emergency response capacity of oil spill, Ningbo Navigation Department was held a sudden oil spill drill in the vicinity sea area of the sea Aoshan National Oil Reserve Base, the relevant business units, the oil spill group of Dinghai Navigation management station, “Sea Patrol No.1648” ship and “sea Patrol No.16405” ship participated in the drill.
 
    There are three large imported crude oil pipelines and three national oil reserve bases in the area of Ningbo Beacon. By the end of 2016, our country has built the Zhoushan, Zhoushan expansion, Zhenhai, Dalian, Huangdao, Dushanzi, Lanzhou, Tianjin and Huangdao National oil reserves these 9 reserve bases, the reservation of crude oil is reached 33.25 million tons, this drill is located at the choice of Zhoushan Aoshan National Oil Reserve Base in order to better closely to the actual work and urther enhance the oil spill emergency response capacity.
 
    In the basis of laying out the oil booms as the main subjects in the previous year, this drill was adjusted oil skimmer and oil dispersants as the main operations in order to be fully familiar with the operation of oil spill equipment and sea operation process.It was also used oil absorbent products such as oil booms and oil pads. Through this drill, it was reviewed the specific operators in the "sudden oil spill" in the case of emergency response capacity and coordination ability, it was reached the purpose of "during the oil spill accident status, reducing oil spill loss and reduce the impact of environmental pollution".
