AVIC Weihai carried out fire and oil spill emergency drill

    In order to timely and effectively deal with emergencies encountered by shipbuilding companies in the daily production process, on the afternoon of March 29th, AVIC Weihai Shipyard Plant was carried out fire and oil spill emergency drill, and the Weihai Xingang Maritime Department was dispatched law enforcement officers to guide the site.
 
    This drill was simulated when the ship was carried out trial sailing, it was happened the fire in the room. And then it was resulted in the oil spill. The crew used a fire extinguisher and a fire hose to extinguish the simulated fire point and then used oil absorbent mats and oil skimmer for oil spill cleaning and recovery. The law enforcement officers of the Weihai Xingang Maritime Department participated in the entire exercise and exchanged guidance with the shipyard staff on the key links during the exercise. At the same time, they analyzed the problems and deficiencies in the emergency drills, and required the shipyards to pay attention to them in order to effectively rectified in the actual combat and effectively improve the crew's fire emergency level.
 
    In the next step, the Weihai Xingang Maritime Department will continue to urge the relevant enterprises in the area to implement the main responsibility for the safe production of enterprises and ensure the stability of the security situation in the area.
