Nanjiang Maritime Bureau held a ship oil spill emergency drill

On the morning of June 4, Nanjiang Maritime Bureau held a ship oil spill emergency drill at the Bohai Oil Terminal. This drill was simulated when the oil tanker was carried out refueling operations; it was occurred the fuel leakage accident. The crew quickly disposed them by using oil absorbent pads, oil booms and oil skimmer in order to avoid leakage of oil spills into the sea.
 
It is understood that the Nanjiang Port Area is responsible for all the crude oil throughput functions of the Tianjin Port, and it has the only 300,000-ton crude oil terminal in Tianjin Port. The Nanjiang maritime department will hold emergency drills every year.
