Jinhai Pulp&Paper Special Terminal launch terminal oil spill emergency drill

 In order to ensure the safe production of Jinhai Pulp Paper's special terminal and improve the emergency response capability of on-site personnel handling emergencies, on May 30th, Oil Spill Emergency Command Department from the Jinhai Pulp & Paper Special Terminal jointly cooperated with Yangpu Maritime Bureau to launched ship oil spill emergency drill at No. 1 dedicated berth.
 
This drill was simulated that there were various degrees of oil pollution floating on the sea front of Jinhai Pulp and Paper Wharf No. 1 berth, and there was a tendency for oil pollution to spread to the outer sea. The situation was urgent. The drill was included accident reporting system, accident site control, ship agreement cleaning company emergency disposal, oil spill cleaning operation command, marine oil spill control by laying out oil booms, marine oil spill clearance by using oil absorbent pads and spraying oil dispersants, bank embankment oil removal, and oil waste recycling and treatment.
 
The drill increased the anti-pollution emergency treatment capacity and the ability to prevent oil spill risk at sea for the Jinhai Pulp & Paper Terminal, ships and cleaning companies, and strengthened the communication and cooperation among all units. In the next step, Jinhai Pulp and Paper Terminal will further strengthen its oil spill emergency response capability, protect the marine environment and ensure the safe operation of the terminal.
