The Boxi joint search and rescue and oil spill emergency joint drill was held.

On August 21st, the maritime department participating vessels gathered in the exercise area.
 
On the same day, the 2018 maritime search and rescue and oil spill emergency joint drill was jointly organized by the maritime departments of Hebei, Tianjin and Shandong, which was held in the waters near the anchorage of No. 1 Huanghua Port, Cangzhou, Hebei. The drill was included helicopter transfer of injured and sick people, search for rescue drowning personnel, suppression of ship fires, oil spill treatment by deploying of oil booms, etc., 13 boats, 1 helicopter and more than 200 people from 15 related units participated in the drill, aiming to construct the maritime emergency defense line and effectively respond to maritime emergencies in the contiguous sea areas of the three places.
