Xinzao Town carried out 2018 safety production accidents joint emergency drill

In order to further standardize the emergency response procedures for safety production accidents, improve the emergency response capability and disposal capacity of each emergency joint member unit, and ensure the implementation of safety production work in the jurisdiction. On the morning of July 10, the Xinzao Town carried out safety production accidents joint emergency drills for ship oil spill, fire, wounding and cleaning, Guangzhou Port Authority Inner Harbor Branch, Xinzao Town Government, Guangzhou Public Security Fire Brigade Special Service Brigade Water Squadron, The Port Authority's new management office, the Marine Department's new sea patrol law enforcement brigade, the university town water police station, the new police station (fire brigade), the third environmental protection office, the traffic police five squadron, new hospitals and related business units participated in the drill.
The drill was simulated when a ship was carried out oil filling process at the Gangmao Oil Terminal, the oil hose smashed between the dock and the ship was leaked, causing about 200 kilograms of diesel to leak out. Some of the residual oil leaked into the water surface and caused pollution. During the process, sparks were caused by unexplained reasons, and the smoke at the scene of the accident was very dangerous. The personnel on duty at the oil terminal immediately stopped the oil loading operations and started the on-site disposal plan for the oil spill accident at the oil depot terminal, and reported to the new emergency command center. After received the report, the command center immediately launched the town emergency first-level plan, promptly notified the fire, maritime, port, hospital and other departments to rush to the scene for rescue, and coordinated the middle fuel tank, the provincial fuel tank, the CNOOC, and the Nancun oil depot company to initiate emergency response for rescuing. They immediately deployed oil booms and used oil absorbent pads for controlling and recovering the oil. Half an hour later, after the efforts of all parties, the fire on the scene was extinguished, the injured were treated in time, and the spilled oil was properly recycled to prevent further deterioration of the accident.
This drill was totally dispatched 7 police fire engines, maritime law enforcement vessels, and port law enforcement vessels, and 4 fire engines were used. The total participating staffs was about 150. The entire process was smooth, timely, well-directed, and orderly. The disposal was effective and the overall situation achieved the expected results. In the next stage, the town will seriously summarize the experience of this exercise, focus on the emergency rescue plan drills, continuously improve the emergency response capabilities for various emergencies, and maintain a good social security and stability.
