On July 24th, Thailand Samut Sakhon Province Waterway Dredging Project completed the first progress acceptance, marking the achievement of the goal of “more than half of the construction period and more than half of the mission”.
Thailand Samut Sakhon Province Waterway Dredging Project is located in the province of Samut Sakhon, Thailand; the main construction content is 22km long inland waterway maintenance dredging, the contract period is 7 months. The project is a long-term maintenance dredging project by the Thai government. The Guanghang Bureau won the bid for two consecutive years due to its good construction reputation.
In June, Thailand entered the rainy season. Due to the influence of the southwest monsoon and tropical storms, the construction area was full of swells and complicated sea conditions. The navigation waterway was narrow, the water depth was insufficient, the water traffic was crowded, and the dredging time and working surface were restricted. By optimizing the construction process, the project department rationally arranged the shelter and operation time. Under the premise of ensuring production safety, it will overcome the unfavorable factors and ensure the construction progress. It was used silt curtains and dredger.
At present, the navigation capacity of the main channel of the Tha Chin River where the project is located has been significantly improved, it was effectively improved local water transportation and social and economic development.
