Qinhuai River was carried out water environment improvement project

Recently, Qinhuai District Yicheng Group carried out deep water environment improvement work in the eastern section of the Inner Qinhuai River (Qinhuai Section) and the middle Inner Qinhuai River. The main construction contents include controlled source interception and dredging by using silt curtains and excavator, ecological restoration and ecological hydration. Through the dredging of newly-generated silt in the river section, the displacement of the two banks will be optimized, the amount of rainwater overflowing into the river will be reduced, and floating islands and aquatic plants will be arranged on the river surface to eliminate the inferior remediation and promote the continuous improvement of river water quality.
