Jiaozuo Management Office conducted water pollution incidents emergency drill

In order to further improve the awareness and thinking of water pollution risks of all employees, and to test the environmental emergencies disposal abilities and the operability of emergency plans, on the morning of September 6, Jiaozuo Management Office organized a water pollution incident emergency drill at the Lihe inverted siphon export organization.
 
This drill was simulated a traffic accident occurred in the South-to-North Water Transfer Bridge, and engine oil and vehicle methanol leaked into the channel, then endangered water quality safety.
 
Upon receipt of the on-site inspection personnel's dangerous situation report, the management office immediately launched an emergency response plan for emergency environmental incidents, organized the arrangement of dangerous situation information verification, reported dangerous situation information, preliminary analyzed the cause of the dangerous situation, researched and formulated the pre-disposal plan, and organized resources for preliminary disposal. Subsequently, the emergency rescue team went to the site to support, through oil booms laying for preventing the surface pollutants from spreading, oil absorbent pads laying for  adsorbing oil, the aerator blowing methanol,  then they sampled at the downstream 500m, 1km, 5km, monitored the water quality of the channeland carried out rescue work.
 
Finally, with the joint efforts, the on-site emergency rescue disposal was over and the danger was lifted.
