Pipeline company carry out Luning pipeline crude oil leakage emergency drill

The Pipeline Company and Qufu City of Shandong Province jointly carried out crude oil leakage emergency drill in the high-impact area of ​​the Qufu section of the Luning Pipeline. The Luning crude oil pipeline is 718 kilometers long and was completed and put into use in 1978. It is the first pipeline managed by the pipeline company. In order to strengthen the emergency linkage construction of the enterprise, the pipeline company carried out an emergency drill with Qufu City，it was simulated that “the crude oil leaked at 300 meters of the Luning pipeline and the leakage of crude oil entered into the water surface of the Dayi River”.
 
As the “leakage point” of the pipeline is located in the Gaohouguo area of ​​Qufu City, the pipeline company Zoucheng Oil Transfer Department has started the emergency plan for crude oil leakage and applied for supporting of the Qufu City Emergency Command Center. Both sides performed their duties, dispatched more than 100 participants, and 11 emergency rescue vehicles such as emergency vehicles, fire engines, medical vehicles and communication vehicles. After more than one hour of continuous rescue operations, all the leaked oil products were recovered by deploying oil booms and oil absorbent pads, and the pipeline leakage points were reinforced. Through this drill, the emergency response, information linkage, and coordinated operations abilities of both parties were effectively tested, and accumulated experience in dealing with emergencies.
