Yunxiao: Shanmeixi dredging and silting project will be completed before the Spring Festival

In the past few days, the Cleaning operations of Shanmeixi in Yunxiao County, Zhangzhou City has continued to heat up, cutters and excavators on the water have accelerated the dredging of river channels.
 
This year, on the basis of advancing the sewage interception management project and strict investigation of coastal pollution discharge, Yunxiao has continuously increased its investment to fully roll out the Shanmeixi dredging and silt removal and ecological comprehensive treatment project to ensure the further elimination of internal pollution and increase water quality of Sahanmeixi and environmental quality around Nanhu Park. It was also used silt curtains for surrounding the silt and garbage. The project has a total investment of 36.72 million yuan and a total length of 11.852 kilometers. The scope covers the main stream of Shanmeixi, the tributary of Shangkeng Village, and the sections of Mashanxi and Baiyinxi tributaries. As of mid-November, the downstream cutter suction vessel has completed 800 meters, and the upstream amphibious excavator has completed 2000 meters. It is expected that all dredging projects can be completed before the Spring Festival this year.
