Beibei District 2020 water traffic emergency (epidemic prevention) drill was held

In order to improve the social governance capacity of the city and strengthen the construction of safe traffic, on June 9, the Beibei District 2020 water traffic emergency (epidemic prevention) drill was held in Maobeituo waters of the Beibei section of the Jialing River. The drill was included four subjects: epidemic prevention and control, personnel lifesaving, fire protection, and environmental protection, which simulated actual combat scenarios such as suspected epidemic cases, crew falling into water, ship fire, and oil spill on the rive(controlling and cleaning by oil booms and oil absorbent pads. During the exercise, the command was orderly, the department cooperated effectively, the dangerous situation was handled quickly, and the task was completed successfully. It is worth mentioning that this drill used water rescue flying wing intelligent life-saving equipment for the first time, so that the water rescue ability gradually developed towards a more scientific, faster and more effective directions.
